We imagined that most people were going to be packing their flip flops, sun cream and swim-wear in August and heading off to the oven-baked resorts of Europe...

We figured it probably wasn't worth organising a BK event in Leeds as we couldn't be sure of filling the larger venues. Then someone made a suggestion...

A one off summer special in a much smaller and intimate venue.

We loved the idea so we've managed to find a quirky little venue tucked away in the city centre of Leeds that can comfortably hold 100 people. Think: cocktails, Pulp Fiction, Berlin cabaret... you're getting the picture.

This event is for those of you who remember the atmosphere from the earlier events when they were held in small intimate rooms and you were so close to the presenter that you could smell the alcohol on their breath as they delivered their five minutes of wisdom, fun and knowledge. It will be an idealised recreation of those early days (largely because this time there will be chairs, toilets, a bar and food!).

The venue is top secret - 100 tickets only!

It’s in the centre of Leeds and within easy walking distance from the railway station. And when we say that the tickets will be strictly limited to 100, we mean it — no more tickets will be issued because the venue can only hold that number, it will be a, first come first served ticketing system.

So don't hang about, if you're in Leeds in August, get your ticket now — we guarantee at least one hot evening in that month.

The usual rules apply as regards presentations (and please note, this is NOT a BYOB event), here they are again if you need reminding:

• All presentations must use 20 slides
• Each slide will last exactly 15 seconds before it automatically goes onto the next one
• After 5 minutes your presentation is finished
• NO sales pitches
